Our mission is to protect children and empower families through life-saving water safety skills. Drowning is the leading cause of accidental death in children aged 4 and under in the U.S., and traditional safety measures — pool fences, alarms, supervision, and parent education — can only go so far.
As a global leader in survival swimming for infants and young children ages 6 months to 6 years, we provide ISR Self-Rescue™ lessons, built on nearly 60 years of research and experience. With over 19 million lessons delivered and 450,000 graduates, our program gives children the ability to save themselves, creating a critical layer of defense when every second counts.
Our mission is simple: to give every child the skills, confidence, and competence to survive in the water, because when it comes to drowning prevention, the child is the most important part of the strategy. Hundreds of documented survival stories prove that these skills truly save lives.

My name is Brittany Tetreault, and I am your Certified Infant Swimming Resource (ISR) Instructor. I’m also a mom to one little girl who has been the inspiration behind my passion for water safety. From the very beginning, we knew that teaching her how to be safe around water was essential.
I began my journey with ISR as a parent, enrolling my daughter in lessons at just 9 months old — and she continues them to this day. During the last couple years as a stay-at-home mom, I had the privilege of watching her learn true, life-saving skills. Seeing her confidence grow in the water was incredible, and it’s what made me fall in love with the ISR process.
That experience motivated me to become an instructor myself so I could help prevent childhood drowning and bring ISR Self-Rescue™ skills to more infants and young children. While many types of swim lessons exist, none offer the 60 years of research, experience, safety standards, and proven results that ISR provides.
Your child’s safety is always my top priority. I treat every student with the same care and attention I give my own daughter. These survival swimming lessons truly can — and do — give infants and young children the ability to save themselves should they ever find themselves in the water alone.
I proudly serve families throughout Middlesex County, Massachusetts, and the Nashua, New Hampshire area. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive learning environment where little ones can develop essential self-rescue skills and parents can feel more confident around the water.
I’m honored to be part of your child’s water-safety journey. If you have any questions or want to learn more, I’m here to help!

ISR’s exceptional results come from fully customized, one-on-one lessons, with just your child and the Instructor in the water. Each lesson is tailored to your child’s developmental stage and your family’s aquatic activities, ensuring the right skills are taught at the right time.
What sets ISR apart from traditional swimming lessons is not just what your child learns, but how they learn it. Safety is always our top priority, and by emphasizing competence first, children build confidence that lasts a lifetime. ISR provides the skills and foundation for a lifetime of enjoyment and safety in and around the water.
